Another Celebrity Marriage Bites The Dust. And So,These Are The 6 Reasons Why MEN Are Becoming Unable To Keep And Protect Their Marriages To Television Queens

Yesterday,we explored a few reasons why Kenyan Television Girls made terrible wives and girlfriends and why they almost always ended up in a nasty divorce thirteen minutes after they had tied the notch in a much-hyped grandiloquent wedding.

The reasons were many, including these girls’ tendency to philander and their burgeoning egos.

Most of the time, these girls end up getting hitched to unknown gentlemen who only gain popularity as a result of being the boyfriend to so and so and will always be associated with that particular TV goddess.

Rarely do these TV girls end up with their fellow TV mates (except in the case of Betty and Dennis). Most of the time, the union involves the dazzling News Anchor and her everyday guy who probably works at some bank,is a businessman, conman, heir to some fortune or a general executive at some mid-sized company.

And just like there’s trouble with the girls, there sure is trouble with the boys, too. And the problems with the boys are like a general thing… Not tied down to a particular man.

Boys will always be boys. And boy exploits will always be boy exploits.

So what makes these regular jamaaz unable to keep their Television Mamas?

Quickly,let’s learn.

1. Cheating

Many of these dudes gave been accused of their glamor wives of cheating on them thus the dissolution of the marriage. And sure, the girls are not lying. Men cheat. Alot. All men from all ages and social standings and careers. And really,it’s no wonder that these men will cheat on their wives. I mean,Future cheated on a girl as gorgeous as Ciara. Arnold Schwarzenegger cheated on a woman as royal as Mariah Shriver. Jesse James cheated on Hollywood icon Sandra Bullock. These boys have cheated on their TV girls too. Definitely. Cynthia Nyamai claimed her ex-hubby cheated on her. We can’t help but believe her.

2. Insecurities

You are married to a woman who is the Nation’s greatest aphrodisiac to millions of men who watch the news just to see her and slip into a reverie dreaming of her. You are married to a woman who commands audiences,a woman who is powerful and famous and beloved by many. A woman whose delightful face graces our TV screens every damn evening. Man,there’s bound to be some insecurities somewhere. Somehow. Many men would feel intimidated by such a woman. He will surely feel inadequate. And insecurities will surely creep in.

3. Domestic Violence

Anne Kiguta’s hubby famously used to beat her black and blue. And she has admitted to that publicly in many exclusive interviews. Domestic violence is not the preserve of unschooled potato farmers and chang’aa addicts in the villages. It’s a vice that exists in ALL sorts of Marriages. Domestic Violence goes down in Karen every night. Just as it does in Kariobangi South. These girls have made claims that their men were let go for beating them pink and purple. Not a frivolous claim.

4. Family Pressures

Family is crazy. Has always been and will always be. Mother-in-laws are sent from the deepest annals of hell. They move into a marriage and destabilize it so much the couple just cannot cope. Extended family also moves in with their wild expectations and stupid demands. Everyone wants a piece of the union. Everyone seems to be married to you. The man cannot cope. His TV girl cannot cope either. Pressure is too much. Especially from the TV girl’s side… Because he family considers her the family gem. Tired of the pressure and madness and senselessness, the regular jamaa calls it off. And can’t stay in such a crowded Union anymore.

5. Long Distance

The TV girl will fly out occasionally to do stories and deal with her crazy work schedule. She will come home laaaaate into the night and is leaving early morning too. She will be leaving for Amsterdam next week. And then South Africa. And then Milan. And then Israel. And then she is off to New York next month to cover The President’s US visit. The dude can’t wait any more. The Mrs is always out of town. Always on some assignment. He could also be busy as well.. He’s a businessman,Mark you. So he’s in China and Taiwan and Turkey and Dubai all the time. They both have very little time for each other. They’re both always on the move. Only time they talk is via WhatsApp and Skype and Snapchat. Or by tagging each other on that occasional Instagram pic. Slowly, the closeness dies. And the union is in danger.

6. Jealousy

The TV Queen gets to meet all of these fabulous people all of her time. She’ll be in studio interviewing some Jamaican celebrity, even flirting with him. She’ll be hosting some real hunk Nigerian actor next week. She’ll be at some event that’s crowded with the hottest and funkiest male stars. She’ll get to be invited to exclusive parties where not even her hubby is welcome. She’ll be on TV, sitting next to that powerful and wealthy celebrity, probably Jaguar, smiling and laughing and enjoying his company. Plus she has all of the money. Nothing makes a man more insecure, more jealous, more intimidated, more afraid, more uncertain of whether to keep her or leave her. Ask all the regular guys who were married to Pop Princess Britney Spears. It never ended well…

Drama,as I said,will continue.
