This Audacious Meru Rapper is Making Shockwaves Across the Place. Just Who is He?? (Photos + VIDEO)

The Meru music industry has seen a spectacular resurgence over the last couple of years with the usually panned County producing some seriously dope artists that have started gaining serious national attention. And making some real moves across the place.

And while everybody now knows Nassizu Murume, Kenya’s own Ali Kiba who was famously featured on the Churchill Show and has been on a roll of late, now, there’s another entrant into the fray – Koffi Machete.

His name alone is enough proof that this 21-year old rap whizkid is playing no games and that he’s come to eviscerate his detractors and slit up the competition. Like the bloody warrior he is.

A surefire rapper with mindbogglingly superb rhymes, the Meru native, born Brendan Karani, seems to be coming fast and doesn’t show any signs of wanting to slow down.

And after releasing a song with Coastal-based artist Sudi, which blew him up and introduced him to a much larger platform, the indefatigable rap sensation has now upped his game and dropped a new jam titled Dogo Dogo in which he seems to take some subliminal shots at Kapuka Rapper Kristoff.

Featuring mellow-voiced Rangeh, the song comes with a meticulously done video shot by the gifted Johnson Kyalo.

Boisterous and bombastic as rappers should be, the new rap kid on the block has already christened himself the King of Meru even taking the battle to the doorsteps of the likes of Nassizu Murume.

And he doesn’t seem too shy to take on rap heavyweights in Nairobi as well… A move he seems not to be too fazed about.

Is this the chap we should all be watching?? And has he got the game all figured out?? We wait and watch.

Meanwhile, Check out his latest release below. You’re gonna have to thank me later.
