Lord Kenya

He was my favourite rapper when I was growing up. He was the rap heavyweight and all the songs he put out were hits. He ruled the rap scene until he decided to turn a new leaf in 2009 to follow Christ. According to him, he was a serious alcoholic and drug addict and got saved by God to do his work. He’s now known as Evangelist Lord Kenya

Omar Sheriff Captan

This actor used to play either the romantic roles or the ‘bad boy’ roles. However, in 2013 he revealed that he changed his ways and was going to follow God. According to him, he got the calling 6 years earlier but didn’t give it a thought until he miraculously prayed to heal his little sister who was suffering from convulsion.

Timothy Bentum

Actor Timothy Bentum has spoken extensively about the destructive days of his past, when he was addicted to cocaine and nearly destroyed everything he had ever worked for. Bentum is now a man of God who actually has his own ministries and uses his platform to reach the lost souls.

Ofori Amponsah

Ofori Amponsah was once the reigning king of highlife and nothing seemed to stop him. In 2012, he announced that he was turning his back on secular music and getting into full-time ministry. He went ahead to establish his own ministry. However, early last year he did a 180 and announced that he was returning to secular music. He still says he is born again but his seems a little off.

Yaw Siki

His single ‘wop3 dodo’ was very popular and seemed to be gaining him following. In 2013, he had an accident on the Tema motorway that facilitated his turn to Christ. He nearly died from the accident. He is now a preacher and can be seen speaking about the Word of God in public transports.
