Ghanaians Are Suffering – Shatta Wale

Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale says Ghana is becoming “very hot” under the current NNP government.

According to the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker, many Ghanaians  suffering every single day due to the collapse of businesses and loss of jobs under the presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

industry as most of his fans are not aware of the many songs he has released recently.

“This time I’m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I’m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things. I’m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day,” he said in an interview on Luv 99.5 FM.

He also observed how the hardship is forcing many of the youth to venture into risky means of making a living including armed robbery and fraud.

The SM Boss is, therefore, appealing to President to fix the economic challenges and alleviate the suffering of citizens.

“I beg the president to do something. Ghanaians are suffering too much. I just want to say this on air for him to know that I also care about the country. The way he wants Ghana to move is the same way I also want Ghana to move but people are complaining too much. Like there’s no money, businesses are collapsing… the country is becoming hotter and hotter. You see that thing, it should’t happen in Ghana. Each and everyday i’m hearing people say charley, there’s no money”, he added.

Asked if he is feeling the heat too, the ‘Gringo’ crooner answered in the affirmative.

“I feel it too, sometimes.”
