Helen Omaboe, Fred Amugi, Adomaa, Others Shoot ‘Telenovela’ In India

Ghanaian actors ply their careers overseas. Zee World casts actress Helen Omaboe and others in a TV series.

The Zee World TV series aims at making Africans get more familiar with their production, by casting African stars from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and others. This is because Africans currently enjoys their many telenovelas

On the Ghanaian front is Fred Amugi and Adomaa. Also, from Nigeria is Mike Godson.

Moreover, this is the first ever Bollywood telenovela to feature African actors. The shooting and production takes relatively about three months.

Furthermore, in September, 2015, Zee World Africa, disclosed at their round table at the MultiChoice Africa Content Showcase, plans to incorporate Africans in their productions.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises has a strong worldwide presence. They have 33 channels. These channels entertain 960 million viewers across 169 countries. Also, it has been in existence in Africa for 18 years as the brands first international territory.
