Burnington Music artiste, Kelvyn Boy has revealed that he will leave his label whenever the opportunity presents itself.
KelvynBoy has been on a phenomenal ascension since winning the unsung artiste of the year at the 2018 edition of the VGMA’s.
He has performed on some of the biggest stages in the country and even outside the shores of Ghana. The ‘Afrobeat’ crooner on several occasions has recounted how Stonebwoy observed his performance from the dressing room at Metro Tv and later expressed interest in supporting his brand.
But how long will the ‘bromance’ between Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy last? Rumour has it that one of Ghana’s fastest growing record labels Zylofon media has shown interest in signing the young star.
Reacting to the rumour in a conversation with Mr Skinny (The Citi Buzzer) and PM on Radio Maxx in Takoradi, the 26-year-old singer admitted that it is a statement of fact that Zylofon media showed interest in signing him on some months ago.
“They (Zylofon Media) have shown interest long ago but we are putting things in place. You know there are issues and all at Zylofon. Even those who are in already have issues…….. If it is possible I will sign a record deal and go be with Zylofon,” he said.
When he was quizzed if he would leave Burnington Music and why, the 2018 VGMA unsung artiste replied;
“It should happen, it must! Naturally, every musician has to move on to better endeavours. Even my father, I moved away from him to chase my dreams. So yes it will happen but it’s a matter of time,” he added.
Kelvyn Boy recently released ‘Ginger’ which is currently enjoying massive airplay across the country.
