Danny Beatz about music engineering and his breakthrough

“I recorded Guru’s popular song ‘Nkwaada Nkwaada’ without a monitor. After making that for Guru, I wasn’t sure if I got what he wanted right but after he released the song and everybody jammed to it, I was surprised. I was expecting Guru to criticize the beat or give it an experienced sound engineer to work on the beat again but he never did. He called to tell me that the song was enjoying massive airplay.”

Also, he revealed how he never gave up on his dream of becoming one of the top beat makers in Ghana. However, he received discouragement from friends and family. Therefore, his focus was to prove to critics that he can thrive with his talent.
