Kumawood actress and movie producer,Nayas 1 real name Gladys Mensah Boaku has broken

silence on viral photos of she and actor Apostle John Prah.

Photos of the two went viral across the various social media platforms suggesting that the

two had tied the knot though Apostle John Prah is already known to be a married man.

In response to this, NAYAS 1 in an interview with Doctar Cann, host of ‘Showbiz Xtra’ on

Happy FM has finally confirmed that the pictures that were circulating on social media were

just for promotional purposes.

She explained that their pictures were just to promote a new movie which featured both of

them as a couple. The yet to be premiered movie is dubbed ‘Justice Denied’.

“It was planned, actually producers of the movie organized the photo shoot for us at Accra mall for the movie artwork and posters, so we took the pictures last week Thursday on the 8th of November and we both did the selections so if he had not given his permission there was no way I would have posted it on social media. It is just for the job,” she explained.

“Why didn’t I post it on the 8th but rather waited till 13th when the movie was about to be premiered if it wasn’t meant for the promotion of the movie?” she quizzed.

She further stated that she has never dated a married man and she will never date one.

“People talk a lot about me but sometimes they should just listen well before they talk, it is work so they should just accept it. I am a very beautiful lady and I want my own husband I will never date a married man,” she asserted.

Nayas 1 is currently signed on to Big Mike production.

Gladys Mensah Boaku, popularly known in showbiz as NAYAS 1 has confessed that cheated on her ‘Oldman’ boyfriend.

According to her, she has no regrets for being unfaithful to her partner. This she explained is because she only cheated once and it was at a time her partner had left her here in Ghana and spent four years abroad. Adding that she didn’t even know when when he was coming back to Ghana.

NAYAS further disclosed that she is proud to be the ‘sidechic’ to the old man and that she will at anytime date or marry an old man over a young man.

She explained that she prefers old men to a young men because men who are advanced in age are caring and decent.

The producer of the latest twi movie, ‘Endwene Bone’ added that young guys on the other hand will only spend your money and have sex with you.

“I’m alright to being with an oldman… I’ve stayed with him for 15years. I’ve cheated on him once because he was overstaying abroad.

“A Young guy will only have sex with you and spend your hard earned money but with the oldman, he’s decent and caring.” NAYAS 1 said on Adom TV.

She was however quick to add that she is not dating the 60 years plus old man for his money but she genuinely loves him.

NAYAS is a 32-year old actress and one of the young producers who have set the pace to invest their resources (time, money etc.) into Ghanaian movies.

Her passion to act began when she featured in the popular Akan Drama Series (Obra).

She later joined the cast for the popular Television series ‘Barber and Shoe shine’ and ‘Pa 2 Pa’.

NAYAS 1 however won many hearts and was warmly received by many after her performance in hit TV series, ‘Chorkor Trotro’ which also featured comedian Funny Face.

She is the Chief Executive Officer of NAYAS 1 Movie Production.

NAYAS 1 is currently promoting her newest self-produced movie titled ‘Endwene Bone‘ which was released on February 24, 2018.
