There Is A Difference Between Intelligence And Blessings –  Shatta Wale

Shatta Movement Frontliner, Shatta Wale has said that there it’s a different thing to say

one is intelligent and another thing to say one is blessed.

According to the ‘Gringo’ man he had intelligent boys back in school who his teachers

always referred to as being serious.

However, these same teachers of his always referred to him as the opposite of his mates.

The Dancehall artiste added that though he was not regarded as a serious student back

in the day in school, the blessings of the Lord has lifted him to achieve successes in life.

Shatta Wale made this revelation through a tweet on the occasion of his 34th birthday

which was on Wednesday October 17.

The Zylofon Media artiste preached how one can have all the academic degrees but

without God’s blessings such a person will be “nobody”.

Shatta, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior has within the last five years founded

and managed one of the best and strongest movements, Shatta Movement,

in Ghana’s music industry.

He launched his latest album [Reign] last Saturday.

However, his perceived loudmouth attitude has seemingly made him an enemy of hundreds

of Ghanaians and musicians, particularly his contemporaries.

This has also made him become arguably the most criticized Ghanaian musician in recent times.

In a tweet to mark his birthday, the ‘champion’ man apparently confirmed arguments

that he is an unintelligent person but then the blessings of the Lord has made him achieve a feat someone with academic degrees cannot attain.

“When I was in school , I had intelligent boys who my teachers referred to as serious students and that I wasn’t . But little did they know there was a difference btwn intelligence and Blessings !! You can hv all the degree but if u not with God ..u nobody !!!” he tweeted with an artwork of him on a throne to depict his self-acclaimed kingship.

I Went To Shatta Wale’s Concert For Peace, Not To Steal His Shine – Stonebwoy

Bhim Nation Frontliner, Stonebwoy has revealed his rationale for going for Shatta Wale’s

‘Reign’ album launch concert which ended up with him being rejected from entering the event’s ground.

According to him, he was at the concert with the sole aim of fostering peace and unity in the music industry.

The dancehall act explained that contrary to perceptions that he went to the Fantasy Dome at

the Trade Fair Centre on Saturday night to steal Shatta Wale’s shine, his gesture was for peace.

“When he [Shatta Wale] came on the ‘Ashaiman to Da World’ platform, the news read that we’ve made peace. It’s a move that will definitely signify peace regardless so nobody would have gone there to make war.” Stonebwoy told Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

Stonebowy and Samini have complained that they were denied access to Shatta’s concert shortly after the album launch.

Read:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/shatta-wale-apologizes-to-samini-about-snub/

According to Samini, they were there to support a brother who had always been

preaching ‘Support your own’. Unfortunately however, they were not given access

to enter the event’s ground.

Shatta Wale in a tweet apologized to the two for being denied access with the excuse

that he had no knowledge they would be there.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy has called Shatta Wale a liar for claiming that he didn’t know he

and Samini had come to his ‘Reign’ album launch to perform.

Shatta Wale, in a tweet, apologized to rival artistes, Samini and Stonebwoy, for their inability to perform at his concert.

“Oh ! how, this is news to me .. sorry if this was da case … am very very sorry .. it wld hv bn nice !!! thnx for da support #TheReigAlbum.” Shatta tweeted.

Stonebwoy, speaking on Daybreak Hitz was quick to cut Shatta Wale some slack.

He said doesn’t believe Shatta Wale tweeted the apology “because he got the ‘Reign’ spelling wrong.”

According to the ‘My Name’ singer, if Shatta Wale’s response hadn’t gone that way, he

wouldn’t have responded because, according to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale had

announced that some people were at the venue to perform.

Check:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/first-copy-of-reign-album-auctioned-for-ghc150000-2/

“The point I want to prove is that we tried. We made a bold move. Let nobody ever think that it was a negative premeditation to get in there and steal the show but to just show Ghanaians that I have always been and I’m always ready to sacrifice [for peace],” he said.

“We have also allowed him [Shatta Wale] on our platforms,” Stonebwoy added.

It will be recalled that Shatta Wale made a surprise appearance at Samini’s Saminifest concert

at the Trade Fair Centre on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

He did same on Saturday, September 30, 2017, when he surprised Stonebwoy at his ‘Ashaiman

to Da World’ concert in Ashaiman.

Man Is Tired; My Album Is Not ‘Borla’ – Shatta Wale

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has reacted to views by some showbiz personalities and a

section of the public that his latest album is nothing to write home about.

A section of the public, with some notable artistes such as Kwaw Kese and M3nsa of FOKN

BOYS have criticised the ‘Reign’ album, describing it as ‘trash’.

According to them, songs on the album are nothing less than empty noises and aren’t worth

all the hype the SM Family put into its launch.

Reacting to all these however, the self-acclaimed dancehall icon says, promotion of the

songs on the album has not yet started because the team is tired after the launch.

“It was just three days ago we finished with this launch. You know man is tired. I don’t know how they want me to work. When haters talk, you just watch them and say wow, you people are really pushing hard,” he said.
