Sarkodie Has Not ‘Sat’ On My Career Growth – Strongman

Rapper signed under Sarkcess Music, Strongman has refuted claims suggesting that his label boss, Sarkodie has “sat” on his shine.

Users of social media and even mainstream media have argued that Sarkodie has not worked hard to promote Strongman.

According to them Sarkodie signed Strongman because he saw him as a threat and therefore

brought him to stay under him so that he cannot over take him.

Some have said that anytime Strongman releases a song, that’s when Sarkodie also releases a song to counter the work of Strongman; something they see as bad.

But speaking to Accra-based Happy FM, the ‘Baby’ crooner indicated that Sarkodie has not ‘sat’ on his shine but rather has groomed him into a true rapper.

He said “I have not been limited by Sarkodie as rumours have it. It’s even a big opportunity for me to be working with him under his record label ‘Sarkcess Music’. I’ve been able to build more on my rapping skills. I’ve been able to perform in and out of the country”.

Strongman joined Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music after he graduated from University but has since not made any glaring impact on the music scene.

Strongman further made a few revelations about his latest EP and talked about his record

label as well as why he doesn’t focus so much on getting hit songs.

The Ghana Music Awards South Africa(SA) rapper of the year winner stated categorically that, Getting hit songs in Ghana does not guarantee your relevance in the Ghana music industry.

He also added that, as a rapper, his identity is always a priority and he doesn’t want to lose that aspect of it hence his reasons for releasing more rap songs instead of focusing on commercial songs.

Strongman Out With ‘Hook And Lines’ Ahead Of His EP Release

Sarkcess music signee Strongman has released a new song titled “Hook And Line”,

produced by Fortune Dane and directed by SarBoat.

Prepping on his upcoming EP which is scheduled for December 2018, the rapper addresses

the issues of how nasty he can get with his rap when provoked in a lyrical war.

Clearing the way and holding down his mantle as the Best Rapper, Strongman proves he still has

the lyrical dexterity and punchlines for which he is loved for coupled with how depth he is in the Twi language.

Strongman Apologizes To Sarkodie Over ‘Disrespectful’ Tweet

Prior to the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, SarkCess Music signed artiste, Strongman made a comment on Twitter.

The young rapper sent out a tweet questioning the influence of Sarkodie in his ability to garner more recognition.

Strongman was utterly disappointed that Sarkodie couldn’t use his influence to make him secure lots of nominations prior to the 19th edition of the VGMAs. Strongman, who only got one nomination consequently took to social media to register his unhappiness.
He tweeted:

So everyday the #sarkeffect #sarkeffect you guys dey talk no, only one nomination for a whole transformer. This is very bad.

This however didn’t go down well with some of his fans as well as those of Sarkodie. Most of them asked him to delete the post but the rapper stood by his comments. Adding that he had waited for years just to make a mark and here is what he got.

However, the ‘Transformer’ crooner has told MzGee at the just ended awards that, his tweet was totally misinterpreted.

According to him he “wasn’t necessarily saying that his management is not doing enough.”

He further clarified that, “I’m directing the arrow towards some people. When I do well, they attribute everything to Sark effect, but the moment something is wrong, they say the artiste is bad.”

Strongman Drops ‘Life’ Freestyle Video

Sarkcess Music signed artiste, Storngman has released  a freestyle video tagged ‘Life’ as he earlier promised his fans.

The rapper talks about life from its perspective and how one has to believe in themselves in all they do.

This comes off as a slight spin-off from his main projects after releasing the ‘Baby Girl’ song which featured Kuame Eugene.

Accorded the accolade ‘The Country’s Favorite Wordsmith’, Strongman uses this freestyle to satisfy his long hiatus from hardcore rap with his well-known command over the Twi dialect.

The rapper flows in the usual Twi language to get all music and rap song lovers satisfied. But to spice things up, he   adds English, bits of Fante and pidgin.

Production credit to Tubhani Muzik and video directed by Wood Films.

Kindly watch ‘Life’ video below;

Meet The Beautiful Girlfriend Of Rapper Strongman

It is said that behind every successful man, there’s one strong and supportive woman.
This can be said for the Sarkcess Music signed artiste, Strongman known in real life as Osei Kwaku Vincent.
Strongman has a girlfriend and a very beautiful one as such. Her name is Wilma Nana Ama. Nana Ama’s strong love for her ‘boo’ has made her add his name, Strong to hers. So just call her Nana Ama Strong when you meet her.
These two have been in a relationship for a while now.  From their love displayed on social media, we can deduce that Nana Ama Strong, is not only one beautiful girl but also very supportive of her boyfriend. You won’t be far from comparing them to Sarkodie and Tracy. No wonder he’s signed onto the Sarkcess Music label. These people are not only successful in their career but in their relationships as well.
We all know What it involves for one to be able to sell his/her music. Nana Ama is always advertising her ‘boo’ on social media platforms. Oh yes! She’s very supportive of him that she helps him promote his music. Plus they’re always literally everywhere together. She sometimes even attends interviews with him.  Perhaps, we may be witnessing a wedding between these two lovebirds too. That notwithstanding, wedded or not, we can say Nana Ama Strong will forever hold strongly onto Strongman. We hope we didn’t disappoint any lady here who ever taught Strongman was single?

4Syte TV To Shoot $300,000 Video For Strongman For Wining New Lord At The MVAs ‘17

SarkCess Music signed artiste, Strongman’s music career is about to take a different direction.

Few days ago, Strongman took to twitter to vent his anger on his label boss. According to him, he couldn’t see his boss’ influence over his musical career. This is simply because he didn’t get the number of nominations he had expected to for this year’s VGMAs.

However, things seems to be taking a different and perhaps greater turn for the ‘Charcoal’ rapper.

4Syte TV has budgeted $300,000 package for him as price for winning the New Lord category at the MVAs ‘17.

In his acceptance speech on 4Syte, he thanked the TV station for the opportunity and promised his fans to expect perfection.

Affectionately called ‘The Country’s Favorite Wordsmith’, Strongman apologized to his fans and 4Syte TV for not showing up for the award ceremony as He was occupied with other duties.

He went on to premiere the video for his new single ‘Baby Girl’ which features Kuami Eugene. YawSkyface is the director of the video.

Strongman is competing for the ‘Best Rapper of the Year’ at the upcoming VGMAs and is hopeful of winning the award.

Strongman Queries Sarkodie’s Influence On His Career

Since the announcement and unveiling of the nominees for the 19th edition of the VGMAs, tempers have been rising.Whilst some artistes are celebrating, a few on the other hand have been registering their disappointment.

We however seem used to it when the temper is rising at the VGMA board because, it has been the norm for years now.

However, the drive has taking a new turn as it’s not towards the VGMA board but to an artiste’s own record label.

And to think that it’s no other label but the SarkCess Music Label owned by multiple awards-winning act, Sarkodie.

Sarkcess Music’s Strongman has registered his disappointed at his record label. Strongman, from all indications expected more from his label. This is because, he couldn’t help but to attack the label on his tweeter handle  shortly after the announcement of all the nominees.

Ghaflagh.com has come across such tweet by the ‘Odasani’ singer and one could feel his fury from his tweets below;

“So everyday the #sarkeffect #sarkeffect u guys dey talk no only one nomination for the whole TRANSFORMER. This is very bad.”

Not even a piece of advise from a fan could calm the peeved nerves of the Sarkcess Music act.

The tweet from the fan who goes by the name Evans Konadu reads;

“you shouldn’t have tweeted this man. When your time comes you would understand. No one can stop your talent not even Awards”

Strongman fumed back with the reply;

“When will that time come… 8yrs now”
