Ten(10) ‘Badgyal’ Moments With Ebony Reigns(Photos)

Ebony Reigns, is no doubt one of the most sought after young female artiste in the counntry now.

Born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, the dancehall artiste has made a name for herself in the music industry.

Although she has been in the industry for less than three years now, the budding artiste is already on the ‘wanted list’ of many Ghanaian music lovers

Ebony was discovered by renowned musician and entrepreneur Bullet of Ruff n Smooth fame when she sent a recording of her voice and was signed to his Rufftown record label just a day after listening to the recording.

She came out with her first single, “Dancefloor”, in December 2015 with a video and audio release.  The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards In March 2016.

A year after, she came back with another  hit single “Kupe”. It was produced by Peewezel. ‘Kupe’ also became a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.

This year alone, Ebony broke the airwaves with three hit tracks, ‘Poison, ‘Date ur Fada’ and ‘Hustle’.

Her music video for ‘Poison’ just won her the ‘Best Female Video’ of the year at the just ended 2017 4Syte TV Music Video Awards.

She still continues to be one of Ghana’s dancehall diva’s and the ’90s badgyal.’

Ebony is signed to ruff town records and Midas touch Inc.

Though some people have expressed their dislike for her way of dressing, the dancehall diva seems not to be perturbed as she keeps being what she loves doing best.
