Underwear Tips For Girls

Image: Sexy panties on the clothesline,

As a woman, no item of clothing gets closer to your skin like your underwear. It is essential in our everyday lives. However, it is necessary for us to find ways to take of them. This is because taking of our underwear is essentially taking care of our vaginas.

No Tight-Hugging Underwear

Tight-hugging underwear is uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time. It is also not the healthiest situation for your vagina because it limits airflow. Also, it is important to find well-fitting undies made with the right material.

Even though cotton can be boring, there are other options. Panties made of things like polyester, nylon, Lycra or Spandex sometimes have more stretch and lay nicer under clothing and still come with that cotton crotch.

Hand Wash Your Underwear Whenever Possible

Underwear is delicate, even if it’s made of 100 percent cotton and not fancy at all. Therefore, it should be treated with extra care. This means hand washing. Sometimes, there is an urge to just toss it in the washing machine. However, try to curb those urges and handwash.
To hand wash, fill your bathroom sink or a large bowl or tub with warm or cool water. Gently add your underwear and swirl it around. Add a small amount of detergent (about a tablespoon) and gently squeeze your underwear through it. Rub out stains by carefully rubbing the fabric against itself. Once you’re satisfied, rinse under cool water. If you’d like, you can add a little white vinegar to get the soap out more thoroughly.

Avoid Fabric Softener and Bleach

Fabric softener is used to keep our clothes soft but it’s too harsh for underwear. Avoid using it when washing your delicates. While bleach is great for white clothing, it’s not great for underwear, it’s way too harsh and can damage the items. Avoid both of these, whether washing in the machine or by hand.

Change them Every 3 Months

I know we are all guilty of keeping our panties for years. In addition to changing underwear daily, you should try and change the entire set. Underwears can trap moisture. Also, every underwear has a shelf life. After a while, the elastic wears out and this is your cue to toss everything out.
