Fresh off  his 2016 European Tour, the musician landed today (December 6th, 2016) at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 2:00pm  ahead of his Jamhuri festival concert to be staged at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani.

Born in St. Mary, Jamaica Clifton got the name Capleton for his reasoning skills that were compared to a famous lawyer in their town. But it wasn’t until he reached 18 years when he started using his other skill, his singing skills. This was after Stewart Brown; owner of a Toronto-based sound called African Star took a chance on the tenderfoot musician and gave him his first break.
He flew him to Canada where he shared a stage with and Flourgon and the audience were floored by his talent, falling hopelessly in love with his music.

After his show, his started and went on to release songs like andthat earned him a nod from the sound-good charts.
But that is not all; Capleton was destined for greater things. He was recognised as the ‘Most Outstanding Stage Personality of 2005 & 2006’ at Thes and won the at the same award show 3 years later.
His talent was not constrained to Canada or his home in Jamaica, nope that kind of goodness cannot be contained in one place. He went on to gain many fans all over the world and his Kenyan fans will get to see this energetic performer at work this weekend.
The hit dem/slew dem, toppa tings hitmaker is the headlining act at the Jamhuri reggae festival alongside Jamaican Ventrice Morgan aka Queen Ifrica, Sustane, Wyre the love Child, Gravitti band among other local acts.
