Speaking to ´The Star´ Lulu shares:

The journey has been great because we are friends more than husband and wife.

Apart from being a couple where the wife has to be submissive to the husband, we chose to be friends and, therefore, can help each other in everything.

Two boys and one girl is their family setup that now shut downs their chapter.

No plans to get another child.

It is definite that basing on their kind of duty, Lulu and Rashid are close to 24 hrs engaged in work more than family but a helping hand saves them the trouble.

Lulu airs:

Our house helps have helped me in raising my kids, and that is how I can juggle between work and family.

Further cautioning:

[It is] how you decide to treat your house helps that matters most. Like for us, we do everything together, including going for holidays.

The Kiswahili media personality further articulates that it is through lessons learnt in marriage and having the heart to understand each other that has worked for them.

Lulu cites that before taking that night nap, it is crucial to solve out one´s issues.

To the young people, don’t get married since you see my marriage as perfect, but instead know what you want to achieve from that marriage because people are different.

Fascinating thing though is how she can hardly recall the last day she had an argument with her hubby.

What she desires to leave behind is having taught marriage values, friendship as well as work ethics.

I don’t want people to remember me as a person of publicity stunts.
