¨Comedians should be on fire daily¨ Eric Omondi speaks of his return to Churchill Show

Eric Omondi is by no doubt the ´President of Comedy´ whether self-proclaimed or not, we need to award him for that.

He drinks comedy, dreams comedy, lives comedy and definitely loves comedy.

Comedy is what makes him Eric Omondi. The rest are just supplemental.

It is unarguably so, that comedy is what has brought him this far.

From winning global awards, to rubbing shoulders with the high and mighty, to his now massive social media following, to multiple brand ambassadorial offers, to staging events alongside celebrity big-wigs.

What else would build him if not destroy him?

Well, everything has its roots, and Eric´s wit in comedy grew from Kenya´s Godfather of comedy, Mwalimu Churchill.

Through Comedian Daniel Ndambuki´s comedy platform, ¨Churchill show¨, Eric´s gift in comedy was discovered, established and grown.

However, it now clocks 5 years since the 41-year old set foot on the show but speaking to KISS 100, he reveals his plans to return.

The rib-cracker gives his respects to Churchill who he regards as his father in comedy.

With video after another up on his Insta pages, it has been tear-filled nights and days for his fans who just can´t have enough of his natural brilliance.

I also realized that I was taking too long to chuck comedy.

Why should I take 2 months or 3 weeks to release something good.

It should be daily! Uhuru Kenyatta is president daily, pastors are pastors daily.

Comedians should be on fire daily.

Further citing that comedy does more refreshing than burn-out for him.

Before revealing that when he was not doing comedy, it felt like work. Quite paradoxical but that´s just it!
