¨Hongera sana ustadh¨ Congratulations are in order as KTN lead reporter goes down on one knee

2019 might not have been the year for many but it seems like the new decade and the new year is what most awaited.

Proposal after another and sounding wedding bells is the order of the day as couples and long-time lovers decide to officiate their relationships.

This time round, KTN News journalist, Tobias Chanji went down on one knee before his Mzungu girlfriend who articulately said ´Yes.´

In a series of photos, the Coast-based Standard reporter decided to make a wife out of his long-time girlfriend, while they were on vacation.

Donning a sharp blue suit and sparkling black loafers, Tobias decided to grace the floor on one knee before his lover, who donned a maroon spaghetti-strapped dress and pumps.

Bouquet of flowers in hand, the environ pretty serene and conducive for the moment, Chanji popped the question and he sure got what he wanted.

Double blessings it seems as the two are set to have their nuptials very soon.

Mr Chanji has been taken up as the lead Coast reporter for KTN News, replacing Francis Mtalaki who departed for Citizen TV.
