¨If only he could wake up…¨ Kenyans blast fellow gospel artistes for missing Papa Dennis´ burial

Award-winning Gospel artist, Papa Dennis was laid to rest on Wednesday at his parents home in Kakamega, but fellow artists never showed up.

Despite Papa Dennis´ mark in the gospel industry, a higher percentage of gospel artistes never turned up to give him his last respects.

Especially, the industry´s bigwigs.

Among gospel artistes present at the funeral were: Daddy Owen, Ringtone Apoko and Gloria Muliro.

Mash Mjukuu, owner of the studio, was present as well.

On social media, Daddy Owen shared:

Asanteni Sana watu wa Matunda. We celebrated Papa Dennis life by giving him a great send-off.

Family and fans however did not disappoint, turning up in huge numbers to mark the artist´s send off.

Papa Dennis was laid to rest in Matunda, Likuyani constituency, Kakamega county.

It marks two weeks since the youthful artist´s death, in what has still left many in shock and grief.

During his memorial service, many remembered him as an industrious, humble and talented individual.

The funeral attendance by gospel artistes was a major disappointment to Kenyan fans who wondered what happened to all Dennis´ friends, while he was still alive.

Friends are so busy holding the casket so tightly…that’s the way the could have hold his hand when he was alive.shame on…..you
