Sassy TV girl, Joey Muthengi faced her struggles after walking out of from Citizen TV to venture into advertising ¨Bet In¨.

Co-host to ¨The Daybreak¨ and ¨10 over 10¨ shows, the ex-Citizen TV anchor decided to call it quits after a row ensued between her and her management, in November 2018.

The thing was that she was in ¨Bet In¨ yet Royal Media had their own – Shabiki – something that did not augur well with her bosses at Citizen TV.

So she got summoned for disciplinary action and opted to exit the local media house instead.

Yes, she moved on to Voice of America (VOA) radio before shifting to Capital FM, as Cess Mutungi´s replacement, but things were never the same after her Citizen TV exit.

She opens up on the struggles of dumping a lucrative job offer for her engagement with the betting company.

Hey November! ????????. Today marks one year since I left my last job. It was a very difficult decision and I had no idea where i was headed afterwards. Won’t lie I’ve had some tough days.

Amidst one´s struggles, a light will always shine and she remains grateful, till this far.
