Kenyan journalist and personality, Grace Msalame vividly remembers May 28, 2010 as the day she lost her virtuoso dad to cardiac arrest.
Her late dad who goes by the names, Tony Msalame, bid the world goodbye at just 56 years of age, leaving behind the TV presenter and her siblings.
It has been a decade since his demise and the family is still trying to come to terms with the painful loss of the breadwinner.
As for Grace, she still misses her daddy but her faith in God, keeps her strong. She penned:
28th May 2010 we got the call that no one ever wishes to receive… You went into cardiac arrest & our lives have never been the same.
The gap is felt to date! 10years later it’s exceptionally painful.
10years later I miss you more… May His Grace be sufficient.
Tony Msalame was a brand in the media industry, with his outstanding radio shows on Metro FM and TV productions like Tushauriane TV series of the 1980s.
This is just a piece of the legacy the veteran broadcaster-cum-comedian left behind, having stood as one of the most accomplished actors and radio presenters to have ever graced the Kenyan entertainment industry.
Just to ring a bell, Tony Msalame worked with legendary radio gurus like Fred Obachi Machoka.
May his soul indeed continue resting in eternal peace.
Kenyan personalities and the social media family flocked her comment section to hold her, share in her pain and comfort her that there are better days to come.

It was always great meeting your dad in the studio at Metro FM on Saturdays after his show Sheki legi before I got into my show. He was always kind and great to talk to. And also very passionate about his work. Glad to have met him and interact with him. We celebrate your dad.
