12 million monthly salary and he drives this… Michael Olunga disappoints fans with the German machine he drives (Photos)

Harambee Stars most potent striker Michael Olunga is already creating the impression that he’s ‘economical’ with the millions that his Chinese club is paying him.

The Kenyan international moved to Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng in January 2017 in a record transfer fee of Kes 467 million.

According to sources privy to the deal, the Chinese club splashed out more than Sh1.2 billion to acquire his services. Half of the amount – Sh500 million was the transfer fee paid to Olunga’s former club.

The other half went to agent fees and Olunga’s handsome salary of Sh 12 Million per month for the duration of his four-year contract.

Olunga hasn’t made headline for his prowess on the pitch yet (he has only played twice for his club) but he’s sure making tongues wag with the German machine he was seen posing on.

The Harambee Star striker was seen posing in front of a black Porsche Cayenne believed to be his – the SUV costs some 6 million shillings, a sum Olunga can comfortably afford with half of his monthly salary.

Critics were quick to tease Olunga to buy a car that matched his status and income, some said he should upgrade to drive Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Aston Martins and other expensive European sport cars.
