Business has been booming for the owner(s) of Lee Funeral Home, July specifically has been a good month following the deaths of four high profile personalities.
GG Kariuki, Joseph Nkaissery, Nicholas Biwott and Bethuel Kiplagat died in quick succession in a span of three weeks, and Kenya’s premier funeral home has really cashed in from their demise.
Lee Funeral Home’s Mercedes hearse has been the vehicle of choice for ferrying the remains of prominent people. Lucy Kibaki, Soita Shitanda, William ole Ntimama, Jacob Juma and Nderitu Gachagua’s remains were all transported on the Mercedes Hearse.
But now Lee Funeral Home has acquired a Kes 17 million British machine to replace the German machine as its primary vehicle of choice for carrying the remains of prominent people.
The lack of any number plate on the Jaguar hearse is a likely indication Lee Funeral Home acquired the British machine recently.
