24 -Year-Old Igembe South elected MP celebrates his win with this powerful message

John Paul Mwirigi has every reason to be thankful to God for having emerged the winner in the 2017 general elections in Kenya. He came out as the winner of Igembe South Parliamentary seat despite having not campaigned like his competitors.

His story has moved many Kenyans and because of his humility the fella is now the youngest Member of Parliamentary Assembly judging from the results released by the IEBC.

Unbelievably he did not have any campaign posters but moved from door to door asking for votes and since he could relate with some of the problems his people have faced in the past, this encouraged them to push him to the top beating the likes of Joseph Mwereria from Jubilee party and renown Meru Deputy Governor, Raphael Muriungi.

Speaking during an interview he came out to say,

I am currently jobless. I rely on vibarua to make ends meet. Notheless, I thank God that I am headed for the August house. I won’t let down my constituents who believed in me.

John Paul went on appreciate those who continue to believe in his dreams and for those who voted for him. He said;

“I am always with my people and they know the struggle I have gone through for the prosperity of our society and that’s why they chose me. My opponents spent a lot of money in their campaigns. Some even tried to bribe voters but they people of Igembe were wise to choose someone who has their interests at heart and that’s is me.”
