Stating that age is but a number because either way, it never really seems like his wife ages despite marking her big day every passing year.

You make 40 look like 20! I love you!

“God bless you and grant you many many more!” he finished off.

History

John Allan Namu and Ms Makena had their nuptials back in 2010 at a private affair.

Both working at Nation Media Group’s, NTV, Makena as editor and Namu as intern but love knew no boundaries, tables turned and before we knew it, they were pronounced ‘hubby and wife’.

For the duo, age has never been a factor in determining their marriage, their growth neither their goals.

For Namu:

I don’t feel the age difference. Sometimes I feel like I’m the older one. Age difference has never been a factor.

And for his significant other, Makena:

Age difference is really not something that we think about. We only remember when filling forms or asked about our age. We think more of the same.

The couple are proud parents to four children and come September 2020, we can only wish the lovebirds a happy 10th wedding anniversary.

Indeed! Love is a beautiful thing.

Happy birthday to the beauty and brains!
