Comedy in Kenya has evidently helped most youths to prosper in making a descent living. One of these comedians is Sammy Kioko. He is one of the most successful comedians in the country. Through his online comedy content, he has won the YouTube Silver Button awards.

The comedian has now opened his own business dubbed ‘Kioko Designs KE’ in Westlands. This is quite an achievement for him. Kioko’s friends were also in attendance as they witnessed him open the store. The business mainly deals with elegant suits.

Sammy’s career in comedy began in high school after he joined the comedy category in drama. Years later, he proceeded as a stand-up comedian on Churchill  Show and later on decided to start creating online content with Tom Daktari. Their YouTube channel now has over 200K subscribers waiting for fresh content regularly.

It’s happy to see young comedians like Kioko make it through their comedy and yearn for more. I’m sure he has inspired more people to aim further, not just focus on comedy.
