Artist Spotlight: Mankind, talented music duo that has taken over the airwaves

If you don’t resonate with Wamlambez, Pekejeng and the likes then there’s no need to worry since there are quite a number of local artists who offer a different and sound.

One such example is Mankind, a duo that is made up of Brian Ochieng’ (The Cloak) and Eugene Okumu (Mane). Believe it or not, they have has taken over the airwaves with their music.

The two are a fresh breath of air since their songs are devoid the obscenities that we have all gotten used to in last few years. Put simply, you can enjoy their music with your parents or an elder person.

Their songs speak to the soul. To add to that, their voices will make you hit the replay button a couple of times.

Brian and Eugene are signed to Pine Creek Records and just like the CEO Peter Nduati said during their unveiling, if Kenya will ever win a Grammy then it will come from Mankind.

The duo has released a couple of songs to date including; Take and Go, Meet Me in London, The King of Hearts, Heaven, Home, Rising, Never Fall and Fame – which happens to be my favourite.
