Betty Bayo is regretting leaving Kanyari and here’s how we know

Betty Bayo is really regretting leaving her former husband Pastor Kanyari. This was a decision she made after the man was exposed by the media of being a false miracle purveyor and 310/- tithe demander.

“You may not be a good husband but you’re a good dad!” Betty Bayo to Pastor Kanyari

Betty Bayo, a gospel singer announced her separation and subsequent divorce from her husband who has fathered her children was the one who made the decision to leave the man after he brought shame not only to himself but also to the people around him after the exposé was released.

Curiously, Betty Bayo immediately after the relationship seemed to be at a better place. She went to America for a short stint where she even gave birth to a child. However, from there, Betty Bayo seems to have lost her gusto for life especially since that relationship failed and her subsequent years have seemingly been lonely years.

How do we know this to be true? Well, ever since she returned to Kenya, she has been attacking Kanyari and even recently when she shared a Father’s Day message with him, while she acknowledged the fact that he was a great father and provider, she still found it necessary to take jabs at him for being “a lousy husband”.

If that doesn’t paint the picture clearly for you, allow me to do so in an even better way. This was a woman who left her man, went on to announce she is living her best life before seemingly developing an obsession with mentioning her ex-hubby’s name. Does that remind you of anyone?

And even Kanyari has questioned her vigour for mentioning his name. In a recent statement he made, he said,

I have never been with a person I loved that much to make me fight for her to love me. When we separated, it’s a decision we made so I cannot go back to her. I respect separation but don’t neglect children. Take care of them and support them and give the woman a chance to get someone else to love her. She might get a ‘Jesus’ or a saint. I don’t regret it, just that I love my children so much but I can’t regret that we separated. Let her look for a Mzungu, when they die she will come looking for you.

We are neither enemies nor friends but Pastor Kanyari is a very stingy man- Betty Bayo

Keep in mind Kanyari, unlike Betty Bayo, has since moved on and married a different woman and they are focused on building their lives together and he couldn’t be bothered with mentioning her but yet he has to keep defending himself because she is busy acting like she didn’t contribute to the end of their relationship.

Betty Bayo

Betty Bayo is clearly hurt that things didn’t work out the way she had envisioned and she has realized that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and sometimes that eagerness to check out of her marriage was met by the reality that no one was really outchea checking for her like she thought. Humbling. Even more humbling is when you remember the wisdom your ancestors shared with you that warned you that people do not throw stones at barren trees…
