Chidi Benz pours out his heart in latest single dubbed ‘Maria’ (Video)

Tanzanian serial hitmaker Rashidi Abdallah Makwiro, popularly known as Chidi Benz, has released a new jam and it is getting a lot of love from his fans.

The song titled Maria has been getting a lot of airplay on both TV and radio stations since it came out a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Basically, this jam is about a certain lass who is driving Chidi Benz crazy so much so that he is willing to do anything to protect her. Sounds cliche? If I was you, I would not jump to a conclusion before listening to this track.

I must admit that the first time I listened to Maria, I thought it was really dull but it eventually grew in me to a point where I think it is the Black Ninja hitmaker’s best project yet.

This track is such a beautiful composition. As you listen to it, you get to appreciate Chidi Benz’ sheer creativity which is evidenced by his ability to play around with words and rhymes.

If you’ve been a fan of this guy as long as I have been then there’s no doubt in my mind that you will love this song so much so that you will have it on your playlist for the rest of the year.

Notably, the beat on this jam is also fire and it also blends well with Chidi Benz’ flow. However, some people will say that it’s too subtle but I feel it works for this joint.
