Citizen TV’s Bernard Ndong thrown out of rugby tournament by security

Bernard Ndong was kicked out of rugby game played over the past weekend after having a confrontation with tournament’s security.

Kenya 15s lost 30-29 to visitors Germany in a game that was played at Rugby Football Union Of East Africa (RFUEA) grounds over the past weekend.

Citizen TV sport anchor-cum-reporter Bernard Ndong was on assignment at RFUEA grounds on Saturday May 27 when Kenya took on Germany.

Ndong and his cameraman had a confrontation with security as they were seeking post-match interviews with players.

The security team forced them to stop recording before they ordered them out of the pitch. Bernard’s attempt to reason with the security were thwarted a man (who appeared to be head of security) who insisted that they should get out.
