Controversial Embakasi West MP George Theuri nearly thrown out of Intercontinental Hotel (Photos)

Swaggerific Embakasi West MP George Theuri once again caused tongue to wag when he turned up at the Intercontinental Hotel.

The controversial lawmaker, who is serving his second term in office, is known for making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

A few weeks ago, Theuri attracted everyone’s attention when he showed up in blue jeans and flip flops at a meeting in State House.

The Embakasi West MP was at it again on Monday, he turned up at official National Assembly induction conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in casual wear.

Theuri would have been thrown out of the conference at Intercontinental Hotel if the Sergeant at Arms was present, he was lucky because the Sergeant at Arms was away during the morning session on Monday.

“I want to dress comfortably sio kila siku suti…ata ningeenda bunge hivi ingekuwa sawa,” Theuri told Nation when asked why he opted to dress casually for an official parliamentary meeting.
