Controversial Kenyan rapper blocked by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and his daughter Ange Kagame

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has blocked controversial Kenyan rapper who is one of his most vocal critics on social media.

Mwafreeka Mwaf is openly opposed to Paul Kagame’s regime, the Rwandan president has been in power since April 2000 and critics have labelled him a dictator.

Kagame was not supposed to run for president in 2017 but a constitutional amendment in 2015 lifted presidential term limits (initially Rwandan presidents were supposed to serve for two-terms of 7 years each) to ensure Kagame remains in office until 2034.

Mwafreeka Mwaf has been giving the Rwandan president sleepless nights with his tweets, he has blasted Kagame countless times over what he claims as his regime’s intolerance to pro-democracy movements.

The Rwandan president and his pretty daughter Ange Kagame have since retaliated by blocking the controversial Kenyan rapper on Twitter.

“Like father like daughter. Anyway I insist I hate dictators and I don’t care who loves them. People dreaming that a dictatorship would work in Kenya must know some of us would resist. We actually value our individual freedom of expression more than “tribe pride”” wrote Mwafreeka Mwaf after Kagame and his daughter blocked him on Twitter.
