Cristiano Ronaldo unveils the face of his twin babies born via surrogacy (Photos)

The world’s best football player of all times Cristiano Ronaldo is a father again. The Real Madrid superstar has welcomed his twins who were born via surrogacy.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal camp soon after his national side was bundled out of FIFA Confederations Cup final in Russia by Chile in a hotly contested semi-final.

Portugal lost 3-0 in penalty shootout after a barren draw in normal and extra time. The Portuguese captain will not be participating in the third position draw against either Mexico or Germany, he was excused to travel home to be with his newborn babies.

CR7 confirmed his departure from Portugal camp on Facebook;

“I was with the national team, giving my everything as always, despite knowing my children had been born. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach our main sporting objective, but I am certain we will continue to make the Portuguese people happy. The president of the Portuguese Football Federation and the national team manager were considerate towards me and it is something which I will never forget. I am very happy to finally be with my children for the first time.”

Cristiano welcomed his twins, a boy and a girl, who were born via a surrogate mother whose identity hasn’t been revealed, though there are claims that she might be an American.

The four time Ballon d’Or winner unveiled the face of his twins on Facebook;
