Daddy Owen explains why he still wears his wedding band despite wife dumping him

Daddy Owen has been having a tough January thanks to his estranged wife Farida Wambui. According to reports, the lady walked out on the former gospel singer; and as far as people know – she allegedly eloped with a very rich tycoon.

With the story already out, daddy Owen issued a detailed post concerning the rumor shared online. To him, all he could ask for is prayers as his marriage was facing some problems here and there. The singer however withheld more details surrounding the matter; but all in all, he handled it like a man.

Speaking just recently during an interview, Daddy Owen for the first time narrated why he still wears his wedding band despite having been left. According to Daddy Owen, the ring marks a covenant between him and God which means he will continue wearing it. He said;

My ring is my covenant with God. When you come together to get married in church, it’s a covenant you are making with God.

Brother weighs in

His youngest brother Slejj who also had an interview with Mseto East Africa’s Willy M Tuva – opened up confirming that the couple had issues before; but did not spill any more details.

Speaking during the interview, Slejj went on to say;

  It’s true in a way lakini unajua media mpaka waongeze vitu zao juu. Siwezi sema wameachana na hajaenda kuolewa tena. Kunaweza kuwa na issues kwa watu wanadate ama wako married lakini media huongeza vitu zake… The situation right now is that everything is cool.
