Dancehall star Mic Syndykate drops new sizzling jam dubbed ‘Money Man Ah Pree’ (Video)

If you are into good music, then you should definitely check out a Kenyan-reggae/dancehall artist by the name Mic Syndykate because he is really talented.

The musician, whose real name is Michael Harun Mugenya, relocated to Dubai after a short stint in the Kenyan music industry.
Before he changed his base to the Middle East, Mic Syndykate has released a couple of songs namely: Sensual Gal, Ghetto Gospel, Ride It and Act under renowned producer MakavellyThaRealest of Telaviv Records.

Singer Mic Syndykate

Mic Syndykate developed interest in music from a very young age. In an interview with Ghafla, he revealed that he would freestyle for his friends while he was in school and they really admired his musical prowess.

Kenyatta University Alumni

The 28-year-old musician, who is an alumni of Kenyatta University School of Law, went on to add that he is indebted to his brother musicality is largely indebted to his immediate elder brother MakavellyThaRealest who doubles up as his producer.

Mic Syndykate

The two, jointly run a record label named Telaviv Records in Nairobi for which Mic SyndyKate is the pioneer artist.
His brother’s inspiration included teaching him the art of listening to some popular music greats including 50 Cent and Jay Z.
Mic Syndykate draws inspiration from reggae greats including Damien Marley, Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man and Aidonia.

He began writing his own lyrics and performing at high school funkies in Nairobi, captivating a lot of attention. After high school he joined KU Law School and started working more silently on music with the guidance of his producer.

Gyal hit maker

In 2015, he made his debut with reggae single Sensual Gal which resonated well with the lovers of the music. He has since released three other songs between the years 2015 and 2017 and took a hiatus then to pursue personal interests.

As a real lover of the game and culture, he is back with a new single and style that is sure to shake the scene and make him a force to consider as far as international level Kenyan Reggae/Dancehall is concerned.
