DJ Evolve set to undergo 3rd surgery

DJ Evolve also known as Felix Onjira was forced to get admitted at the Nairobi Hospital after MP Babu Owino shot him on the neck.

The two apparently got into a heated argument while at B Club and without expecting it, Babu Owino pulled out his gun shooting down the popular DJ.

Babu Owino went on to issue a statement claiming that his life was in danger at the time the shots were fired; however the CCTV footage proved otherwise.

So far his ODM party has distanced itself from Babu Owino as they publicly sided with the victim in a statement seen by Ghafla. The ODM secretary issued an official statement which read to say;

Matters of alleged criminal conduct are beyond the realm of a political party. The law enforcement agencies are in charge. The ODM party is subordinate to the law of the land. Our concern at the moment is with the victim of this extremely unfortunate incident,

Medical update on DJ Evolve

One of Evolve’s friends shared a well detailed post updating fans on his friends whereabouts.  Mikey Likulu went on to write saying;

Felix has been responding well to treatment and is in stable condition. As of yesterday, he was still in pain & couldn’t move his lower section of the body but he personally informed me he could feel some reflexes from a distance, which is a great sign of regaining useful function on that region.
The bullet nicked/bruised one of the bones in the neck that is connected to the spine which resulted to sensory loss & lower limb weakness. He is therefore scheduled to undergo a 3rd (and hopefully the last) surgery later in the day and anyone who visits him from today will be restricted to see him through the glass door, as per his doctor’s advise. As we advocate justice, let us also keep him & his family in our daily devotions during such difficult moments.
