Former Churchill show comedian narrates how suicidal thoughts almost drove her to jumping off balcony of eighth-floor apartment (Video)

Most female comedians on Churchill show always have moving stories about their past lives; and how they overcame not only poverty but bad relationships.

Well, Comedian Zeddy has seen been through hell and back just for the sake of her three kids. Speaking recently during an interview with Grace Msalame; Zeddy opened up about her failed marriage and how she overcame depression.

Well for those who don’t know, Zeddy and her husband parted ways about a year ago after he packed his belongings and moved in with another woman.

According to Zeddy this was the second time her husband was pulling such a stunt; but since he chose to walk out on her when she was 2 months pregnant depression then became a big part of her life.

The former Churchill show comedian went on to reveal that despite the heartbreaking breakup; her ex chose to carry the cooking gas they had been using in their house leaving his children and pregnant Zeddy with nowhere to prepare her meals from.

Suicidal thoughts

At this point Zeddy says she felt like life had chosen to make her miserable but the thought of her children and unborn baby kept her going.

Speaking about depression, the female comedian for the very first time confessed to being suicidal as she had thought of jumping off her 8th floor balcony. She went on to open up saying;

Nilikuwa natamani kwa sababu hiyo time nilikuwa naishi 8th floor. Nilikuwa natamani saa zingine venye nimepanda huko nijirushe. Alafu kama mwanamke kitu inaniambia kuna watoto wengine wananiangalia.

Zeddy however went on to say that through it all; the thought of living her children as orphans saved her from doing something that would have cost her family a lot.

Although she admits to not getting any counselling, the young mum thanks her friends for being therapeutic with their words.
