Go for entrepreneurship classes – Nameless to upcoming talents

Kenyan afropop artist, Nameless has grown old in the Kenyan music scene having graced it for 20 years now.

Up and close on Mpasho, the veteran artist spoke about the dynamics of the Kenyan music industry and what should be done both by the young talents and those already well established.

Sadly for him, it is unfortunate that artists are now hopping onto the new gengetone vibe with upcoming artists, instead of sticking to their own lanes.

Established artists should only adjust and not dive right it, it ends up making no sense.

I am from a different generation so as much as I would like to connect with the young generation, I should connect when I´m on my lane. Not to change my vibe as much but to just adjust.

Despite the pressure the lucrative industry is currently facing, David Mathenge alias Nameless encourages artists to stay true to their art.

And his piece of advice to the young talents is:

Go for entrepreneurship classes coz no one will tell you but you need to get the knowledge on how to think like an entrepreneur. It will help you grow your brand and strategize.
