Here’s Why Holy Dave Is Protective Of His Sisters With His Friends

Former host of Bambika show on Citizen TV, David Muthegi, popularly known as Holy Dave, has revealed how he feels when his friends talk to his sisters. Speaking in an interview with Dr. King’ori, Holy Dave says that most of the times he doesn’t want his friends to talk to his sisters when he’s around because they make him feel uncomfortable.

” Sijui mbona. Na hii kitu naeza rushia maboy noma. Sielewi. Nilikuwa na feel uncomfortable mtu akiongea na sister yangu. Kwanza boy wangu na feel even worse. Una feel nikama anakukatia wewe.”

Holy Dave is also a gospel rapper. His family had US as their home and some of the siblings were born there, others in Kenya.

Last year, the rapper decided to quit hosting Bambika and took to social media to announce that he is leaving the show.

He said he needed some time off to focus on his personal affairs, singling out his PhD thesis paper as a key factor.

Without a doubt, beauty runs in Holy Dave’s family. Joey Muthengi is a younger sister to Holy Dave. She  is a rapper, actress, radio and TV presenter and also an enthusiastic blogger.

Holy Dave started a charitable organisation known as ‘The Muthengi Foundation’, which has used his influence and his sister Joey Muthengi’s connections to establish a network of young people with a common goal in enhancing development.

The support the siblings give each other is definitely something to emulate in our families.
