“I just lost words” Diana Marua painfully narrates how she caught her ex cheating, pants down
Kevin Bahati met his wife, Diana Marua while she was a video vixen to his own song ‘Mapenzi’ and it is no coincidence.
Apparently, the very day Bahati was shooting his Mapenzi video, was the same day Diana Marua broke up with her now ex-boyfriend.

Ordeal
Early morning, Diana Marua was leaving for Bahati’s video shoot when she caught her then-boyfriend, pants down with another woman.
Unfortunately, she always saw such kind of drama acted in movies, but never did she think it would happen to her, particularly on such a day.

Ms Marua was to star as the main vixen (bride) in Bahati’s song ‘Mapenzi’ that was basically a wedding inspired song.
So saddening and humiliating for her as tears gushed out of her eyes, but she had to piece herself together and leave with urgency.
My heart was torn apart. It is the very morning that we were going to shoot the Mapenzi video that I found my ex-boyfriend, cheating on me. Unajua mimi huona hizi vitu kwa movie, sikujua hizo uhappen in real life. I found the guy cheating on me. Actually I found this guy with a chick in the car and to be honest they were pants down and I cried my heart out that morning.
All of a sudden I see his car at the parking lot. I had called him severally but he wasn’t picking, I wanted him to drop me ama anipatie gari niende nayo. So I was like did he got out akalewa, akashindwa kukam juu kwa nyumba. So I went to the car smiling, by the time nafika kwa gari naona mtu ananiangalia akivaa Vest mbio. My face changed, walking near the car I see him throwing a blanket to this other chick. I went ahead and opened the car and people were literally naked. Ni ka vitu zilikuwa zishahappen sasa walikuwa wanamalizia asubuhi ndo waambiane Goodbye. I remember I went back to the house to try and get myself together, coz I was leaving for Bahati’s video shoot. But I just lost words.
Aftermath
Her now hubby and father to her 2 children, Bahati, jumps in delightedly airing:
I want to thank God for that act because that is what brought you to me. Kumbe mimi nilikuwa nakungoja video shoot kumbe uko huko una heart breakiwa. I think God was preparing me to date you. Unajua the song we were shooting was a wedding inspired video I kept calling her Bae, before hata video ihappen.

Diana additionally notes that it is after their ‘Mapenzi’ video shoot that they became friends, giving birth to a relationship.
