“I now want to take my ugliness outside the country” Mr. Ugly sets his eyes on world title after being crowned ugliest for the third time

Mr. Ugly accused judges of being bias when he lost his title in 2015. William Masvinu has since reclaimed the ugliest title in 2017.

Organizers of the Mr. Ugly pageant say the annual contest seeks to celebrate beauty in ugliness. William Masvinu has won the contest for a record three times.

No one can dispute that I am the ugliest person

Mr. Ugly affirms that there is no doubt that he is the ugliest person in Zimbabwe. Masvinu now wants to win Mr. Ugly World which will be held in South Africa in 2018.

“No one can dispute that I am the ugliest person in Zimbabwe. I now want to take my ugliness outside the country. If there is Mr. Ugly World, I am confident I will bring the crown to Zimbabwe,” Mr. Ugly said.

Mr. Ugly lost his title to Maison Sere in 2015 (the competition was not held in 2016). Masvinu complained that Sere’s ugliness was only based on his missing teeth and not his face.
