“I take full responsibility and I am ashamed” David The Student apologizes for conning Kenyans in US

Comedian David Kangingo popularly known as David the Student was recently exposed by Kenyans living in Americas who complained of being conned by him.

Several Kenyans in America shared screenshots showing how the popular comedian obtained money from them under false pretenses.

Eats the humble pie

David the Student has since apologized for conning Kenyans in the diaspora. The disgraced comedian took to social media to write a lengthy apology letter.

“I apologize to everyone I borrowed and those who lent me money and I’ve not refunded. I take full responsibility and I am ashamed. There’s so much pressure being on TV to live a certain life but in real sense it’s crazy. Comedy in Kenya doesn’t pay,” wrote David the Student in part.

David was first accused of conning someone way back in 2016. A certain Grace Mboya accused the comedian of acquired money from her under false pretense, she claims David the Student owes her Kes 188,650.
