“Kesi inaninyima usingizi jamani” Wema Sepetu expresses fear over her drug case following Lulu’s sentencing
Wema Sepetu was arrested on February 4th 2017 in a drug sweep. The former Tanzanian beauty queen was found in possession of marijuana at her house.
Wema spent close to a week in police custody before she was finally presented in court. She was charged with being in possession of 1.80 grams of marijuana.
Wema’s case has been dragging in court for months. The last time her case was heard was on November 16th, the case was postponed to November 24th.
Wema expresses her misery
The former Tanzanian beauty queen says she been having sleepless nights because of her court case. She revealed this a few days after Elizabeth Michael Lulu was sentenced to two years in prison.
Wema told Global Publishers that she has no peace in her heart. She explains that sometimes she can’t even travel out of Tanzania because of her case.
“Wema alisema: “Yaani kiukweli kabisa kesi inaninyima sana usingizi jamani, nakosa amani na wakati mwingine hata ukitaka kubadilisha hali ya hewa nje ya nchi haiwezekani, inaumiza sana,” Wema Sepetu said.
