Khaligraph reveals why he never set foot in his village since becoming a celebrity (Video)

Kenyan award-winning rapper, Khaligraph Jones is celebrated for his mark and legacy in the local and global music scene.

You walk into events, you rub shoulders with people of all status and Khaligraph Jones is not a name you need to introduce. In other words, Jones is a brand and according to him, he is the OG who needs to be respected.

Unfortunately, is as much as East or West, home is best, for the rapper, home is not his place to be.

Home has never made him feel comfortable and especially after her created a niche for himself in the entertainment industry that saw him rise to celebrity status effortlessly.

Khaligraph has revealed that he has never travelled back to his parents home in Bondo, Kisumu for years now.

Many would wonder why? Turns out that the father of one does not have good ties with his parents since way back.

Broken relationship

Speaking to comedian, Jalang´o, the rapper pinned the blame on his parents who created a rough landing for his relationship with them.

Unfortunately, I don´t and its a mistake that was made by my parents.

Surprisingly, the last time the artist set foot in his roots was during his father´s burial. And that is not that he voluntarily went, it´s just that it was an obligation he could not say ´no´ to.

Learning from his past, the rapper who has time and again never shied away from talking about his love life, his wife and kids articulated that he does not wish to see his kids have a broken relationship with him.

That was the time my dad had passed away and we had to. I think that´s the first and last time that I will ever visit. We don´t have a relationship, its a bad thing and I would not want that to happen to my kids. But that´s how life happened and unfortunately, I don´t go back.

However, the Milele FM presenter urged him to mend the broken pieces and patch things up with his family, to which the artist stated he will try.

At the end of the day, everything has to come back to one thing – you have to go back home.
