KOT goes bananas after Senator Kipchumba Murkomen shows off aerial view of Jubilee’s ‘invisible’ stadium (Photos)

The government promised to build ultra-modern stadia in the country when it took power. Senator Kipchumba Murkomen took it upon himself to show Kenyans one of the state of the art stadia under construction in his own county.

Deputy President William Ruto sparked uproar when he updated Kenyans about the state of stadia under construction across the country.

“But in six months’ time, the stadium in Wote will be complete, in three month’s time the stadium in Chuka will be complete, in three month’s time the stadium in Moyale will be complete and in six month’s time the stadium in Kamariny, West Pokot, will be complete,” Ruto said during the launch of Jubilee manifesto at Kasarani indoor arena.

It turned that the Kamariny stadium the DP was talking about is in Elgeyo Marakwet County and not West Pokot. But does the stadium really exist?

Well, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen took to Twitter to produce photographic evidence of the construction of the ultra-modern stadium.

The problem is that the stadium couldn’t be seen with the naked eye, Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) were quick to troll the senator for flaunting ‘ghost project’.
