Laura Walubengo: Leaving Capital FM after 12 years was so scaring

Former Capital FM presenter Laura Walubengo is almost stepping into the fourth floor.

Walubengo recently took to social media to look back at her career before she turns 40 years saying that leaving Capital was one of the scariest moves she has ever taken.

“Moving from Capital to DStv was such a life changer for me. I grew so much and so quickly. My outlook, my ideas, my thought process, my dreams, the possibilities; everything just grew. It was so scary leaving Capital FM after 12.5yrs, and it wasn’t an active move but rather a door opening and I couldn’t peep – I was either in or out. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds. Even today! 6 days to 39” shared  Walubengo.

Movement

Walubengo left Capital in 2014 for South African firm MultiChoice as the Lead Digital Communications Specialist East Africa for DStv based in Kenya before she returned to Capital in 2017.

She left yet again in 2018, only after 7 months Laura called it quits again this time to join China Global Television Network (CGTN).
