Linus Kaikai confirms Jacque Maribe has resumed duties at Citizen TV after missing in action for two months

Jacque Maribe was arrested in connection with the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani on September 29th 2018. She had not been at Royal Media offices until a few days ago.

Justice James Wakiaga ruled that Maribe should not be on television to anchor news or conduct interviews when he released her on bail on October 30th.

Maribe has however resumed duties at Citizen TV, but she is careful not to violate terms of her bail as she could easily be shipped back to Langata prison.

Royal Media Services innovations director Linus Kaikai confirmed that Maribe had resumed duties. Speaking during an interview with Word Is, Kaikai revealed that the management is yet to decide on what she will be doing since bail conditions forbids her from going back on air or conducting interviews.

“She just came in and she first needs to settle in. We will decide internally on what she will be doing but she remains an employee of Citizen TV,” said Linus Kaikai.

Other sources say Maribe will just be a news editor who will compile and arrange stories that will run on air on Citizen TV.
