Kenyan presenter Lulu Hassan is undoubtedly one of the best Swahili news anchors in the country. She is one of the luckiest females to anchor news with her hubby Rashid Abdalla by her side. The two have been on the screen for a while and can be seen with matching outfits on several occasions; an epitome of true couple goals.
Lulu’s impeccable talent on Tv has been recognized at the Women in Film Awards. She has won the best producer for TV Drama. The joyful anchor shared her superb achievement with her fans on her page.

Lulu started off her career as an English radio presenter. When she was still a presenter at Radio Salaam in 2008, a KTN cameraman informed her there was a crisis at KTN. Two of KTN’s Swahili anchors were going for maternity leave, and they needed someone to step in. The cameraman asked her to try her luck. Being a risk-taker, she went for a screen test, and she was hired.She later moved to Royal Media Services, where she is and anchors till now.
