Am sure you will hate yourself if you watch African action movies; especially action films from Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Tanzania.

But not all is lost, at least Malawi is doing justice with action movies – especially karate/Kung FU movies. A Malawian Kung Fu movie dubbed ‘The Town Monger’ has sent the internet into a frenzy.

Apart from the sound which has issues, the scenes in the Malawian Kung Fu movie are like what we see in Jackie Chan action packed films.

The display of martial arts prowess in ‘The Town Monger’ is just on another level, a clear demonstration that African action movies can go places if African movie producers get serious.
