Celebrated entertainer VDJ Jones is threatening to take legal action against Citizen TV Nipashe News and reporter Gatete Njoroge, after they aired fake news about his death.
VDJ Jones had previously announced the sudden demise of his counterpart DJ Mike Kay, who passed away while receiving treatment in hospital. The cause of his death was not clear. This was probably what caused the haphazard news.

VDJ Jones took to social media to warn the media station and the reporter for airing such news.
