Michael Olunga destroys Iraqi goalkeeper as he score beautiful goal in Kenya match against Iraq (Video)

Harambee Stars traveled to Iraq to play against the Lions of Mesopotamia (Iraq national football team) in an international friendly match.

The match was played at Basra Sports City in Basra, Southern Iraq on Thursday September 5th. Well, Iraq won the match 2-1 but Olunga scored a beautiful consolation goal for Stars to take his tally to 12 international goals for the national team.

There were a lot of defensive blunders on the part of Harambee Stars and they were punished for it in the 17th minute when Iraq was awarded a penalty which they converted.

The Lions of Mesopotamia dominated first half and were rewarded with another goal, the second came on the 45th minute which was scored with a header.

Stars had a couple of chances to score at least three goals in the second half. Olunga wasted an open chance on 68th minute when he hit the side net. The striker once again had another chance on the 76th minute but he failed to tap home an cross that was heading towards him in the penalty box.

Olunga however redeemed himself in 85th minute when he scored a beautiful goal from approximately 20 yards away. The Iraqi goalkeeper must have thought the Kenyan striker would pass the ball since he was far but instead Olunga fired the short to the far right of the goal post and scored.
