NASA deputy principal, Kalonzo Musyoka speaks after Citizen TV, KTN and NTV are switched off

There has been a lot going on as NASA principals plan to hold the swearing in of their leader, Raila Odinga.

The ceremony set to take place anytime from now has seen most NASA supporters flock Uhuru Park despite the Nairobi county governor announcing it was out of bounds.

With many wondering how this historic event will go down, the government has apparently switched off KTN, Citizen TV and NTV to avoid them airing the event.

This has not only shocked many Kenyans but has left most people questioning whether there is any freedom of media in the country.

Kalonzo Musyoka who is NASA’s deputy principal has also condemned the act as reported by Tuko while speaking to journalists at his home .

Government bans media houses from airing NASA’s event

Last night several TV stations revealed that the
government had issued a warning against airing of the event.

However, the Kenya Editors Guild brushed the warning and went on to advice all media houses to carry on with their duties.

With this, many have witnessed several TV stations getting switched off to avoid airing the controversial Raila Odinga swearing-in.
